About Lisa B.
Hi, Lisa B., that’s me! Welcome to my website.
I am a passionate educator, servant leader, community volunteer, child advocate and seller on Teachers Pay Teachers. When I am not doing these things, you can find me taking a hot yoga class, at the gym getting a good workout in, or working in my flower and vegetable garden.
I accepted Jesus Christ as my LORD and personal Savior on May 18, 1998, at Pilgrim Baptist Church located in St. Paul, Minnesota. This day in May was the day that I made the best decision in my life. Prior to this, I was doing things my own way and living for myself; in a state of brokenness, lost, and hurt with some pretty deep wounds and scars.
Since accepting Jesus Christ into my life, I have seen the transformative power of the Holy Spirit work in my life and have begun to see things through His eyes, His perspective. My personal relationship with Jesus is growing sweeter and sweeter each day as I am being healed from past hurts, scars, and wounds. I am so grateful for the relationship that we have, knowing that He is concerned about every detail of my life and that I, Lisa Ann Brown from Harvey, Illinois, (a suburb of Chicago) am the apple of His eye. I am God’s unique design and there is no one in the entire world like me. I am fearfully and wonderfully made. God knows me intimately. I belong to Him and He loves me unconditionally!
I am not perfect by no means, but I am progressing. I now know that my value, worth, and significance is found in the person and work of Jesus Christ and what He did for me on the cross. I’m keeping my eyes fixed on Him and seeking to fulfill my purpose; to change lives through community outreach, global missions, servanthood, and education; my Kingdom assignment.
